Actor Sanjay Dutt seems to have prepared a return gift for his fans, on his birthday today.

Filmmaker Karan Johar officially released the first look of Kancha Cheena from his forthcoming film Agneepath, on the eve of Sanjay Dutt's birthday.

Though Dailybhaskar.com was the first one to reveal the look, almost a month before, the picture released, has Dutt looking extremely vicious and evil.

The actor, who is now shooting at Thailand, had spoken about his career defining role to us sometime back, Dutt said "I play a negative character- Kancha Cheena and the best thing I love about him is the deadly look."

Sanjay had further added by saying, "I am sure it is going to scare a lot of my fans."

Meanwhile, Karan Johar too is ecstatic about Dutt's negative character  getting shaped up so well. He feels that it is indeed going to be a rage.

In fact earlier Dutt's friend Salman Khan, got so impressed after he was shown the first look that he tweeted his desire of being bald.

Here's hoping that Dutt's portrayal doesn't give Indian barbers a tough time!

Our take: We wonder how strong this attraction (if any) really is! In all probability, this is a rebound relationship for Bips. As for Shahid, he’s single and ready to mingle after his on-off relationship with Priyanka finally ended. Things look bleak for this couple.

 

 

Our take: Struggling to find a foothold in the industry, Kunal and Soha have found great support in each other. Also, after her breakup with south star Siddharth, Soha seems much more secure and sorted in the company of Kunal. And we hear that mum Sharmila is supportive. This one could be for keeps.

 

Our take: This one seems more like a friendship of convenience than a serious relationship. Dips and Sid are young and unwilling to commit. They even seem open to considering other eligible partners. This one doesn’t look like it’s going to be an affair to remember.

Our take: These two lovebirds have managed to keep their relationship away from the media glare. Guess that has helped them sustain it over so many years. Their parents, who were earlier not too keen on the match, are now comfortable with it. Even though Riteish recently denied any plans of marriage, we wouldn’t be surprised if wedding bells ring soon!

Our take: Director Punit and Sonam became friends first before love came a-calling. Though they haven’t admitted to anything yet, their close pals have confirmed that they are more than just good friends. They have stood by each other in the last couple of years and Punit has constantly been by Sonam’s side through her health problems. It looks like a solid foundation to build a relationship on, doesn’t it? If they manage to handle their respective stardom and success with maturity, they could make this a lasting affair.

Our take: This duo is currently riding the wave of success and shares a great chemistry on and off screen. Ranveer is enjoying loads of female attention (Case in point: Sonakshi Sinha) and has always maintained that he is in no mood for a serious relationship. Though Anushka adores him, we hear she gets put off by his flirtatious and loud behaviour. Wethinks it’s quite a fiery relationship, but one that could fizzle out soon.

Controversy Queen Rakhi Sawant is back on television with a new show on Imagine TV.

After stunning the audience with her loud actions and shocking judgments on ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’, Rakhi is all set to host one of the funniest, bizarre chat show ‘Gajab Desh Ki Ajab Kahaniyaan’.

The actress was in the Capital yesterday, to address the media about the brand new reality show. What surprised everyone was that Rakhi Sawant’s saree went missing at the last moment. Rakhi, who was keen to wear a saree at the event, was really disappointed when she came to know that her saree had been stolen.

The organisers of the event had to arrange for another saree, as Rakhi refused to meet the media in any other outfit. Finally, after battling for three hours, Rakhi appeared before the media in a pink net coloured saree, looking no less than a diva.

As expected, Rakhi was at her wackiest best while she answered numerous questions that came her way.

‘No controversy, not any more’

Gossip and controversy follows this babe wherever she goes. However this time, she is not in a mood to invite any kind of storm for her and the channel. “No controversy any more for me, as I have already faced a lot in my previous show (she got into a legal battle when one of a contestant, who came to seek justice on the show committed a suicide after being called impotent by her).

Ask her what was more shocking for her – the saree theft or her upcoming show concept; Rakhi quips, “My saree went missing at the last minute, when I was to appear before all. However, such incidents keep on happening and one should not lose his/her calm. But the show concept was really shocking for me and I am sure that it will take the viewers by a surprise.


On marriage – Baba Ramdev or Rahul Gandhi?

Even though her relationship with beau-choreographer Abhishek Avasthi or Elesh Parujanwala did not turn out well, Rakhi Sawant was at her wackiest best, when she was asked about her marriage plans.

Apparently, she took a pot-shot at yoga guru Baba Ramdev saying, “I am waiting for the day Baba Ramdev proposes me for marriage. I love the way he does yoga on television. He may be ‘Baba’ for all of you but he is a ‘Swami’ (husband) for me. I will request the channel to organise ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamwar 2’ and get Ramdev as one of the contestants.

I have noticed a number of times that Baba tries to woo me by twitching his eye-lids. I promise that once he is married to me, he would never flutter his eye. I was interested in Rahul Gandhi too, but I knew that my antics won’t work before Sonia Gandhi Ma’am.

On plans after marriage?

“After our marriage, Swami Ramdev and I will do ‘Anshan’ together and will take the matter of ‘Kala-dhan’ of Swiss bank further.”

Model-turned actress Aarti Chhabria has won the fourth season of 'Fear Factor-Khatron Ke Khiladi' after weeks of gruelling tasks involving underwater stunts, fighting off creepy crawlies and jumping off dangerous heights.

Aarti and her partner Dhaval Thakur succeeded over singer Mauli Dave and Dhiraj, after facing two risky stunts on the grand finale, aired on Colors Saturday (July 23). Model Diandra Soares and her partner Arhan were the other finalists, but lost the first stunt.

Aarti made her debut in Bollywood with 'Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai' (2002) and later featured in films like 'Awara Paagal Deewana' and 'Shootout At Lokhandwala' amongst others.

The 28-year-old not only walked away with the title of being the 'Khiladi', but has also been chosen as the 'Thums Up Thunder Star', where she will get an opportunity to feature with Akshay in the new campaign. Her partner Dhaval won a Scorpio car.

The finale involved a stunt where the male contestant had to drive the car and the female contestant was controlling the vehicle's momentum.

In the second stunt, the female contestant was tied up in a bus which was set on fire and the male contestant had to unlock her and set her free. He also had to reach for the 'Thums Up' bottle which was tied up at three feet above the ground and whichever team did it fast, won the show.

The show, hosted by Akshay Kumar and shot in South Africa, started with 13 female celebrities. Models like Diandra, Alesia Raut and Poonam Pandey, actresses Aarti, Smita Bansal and Aashka Goradia, item girls Sambhavna Seth and Kashmera Shah, two VJs - Bani and Mia Uyeda, singer Mauli Dave and Dina Singh who is actor Vindu Dara Singh's wife and Anjum Chopra, the former captain of the Indian women's cricket team, were a part of this season.

'Khatron Ke Khiladi' is the Indian version of 'Fear Factor', where contestants undergo daredevil stunts to get over their fears and win the show.
